3 Things You Need to Know About the Astrology This Week!
Hello there and welcome back to another week in the stars! This is a full week of things happening in the sky as well as a full moon week. Not “just” a full moon either, but a lunar eclipse and the start of eclipse season. Also in the line up, we have Mercury retrograde and Saturn and the Sun converging together as well this week, wowza! Let’s dive right in and see how this is all playing out for us😊
1 - First up this week on Wednesday is the actual joining of the Sun and Saturn (sometimes called a Cazimi) but, just like with full moons (comin right up, btw), this energy can often be felt for several days. As mentioned before in my blog posts and emails (if you aren’t signed up - click here for my emails and receive your freebies and a weekly detailed astrology report! FREE!!) when a planet meets or passes by the sun, it is a rebirthing of sorts. The planet is considered “combust” but also reborn in a way that the fire from the sun burns off things, like a Pheonix rising from the ashes. With the themes of that planet very much active, look at what ways you can be reborn with regards to structure, authority, and rules (Saturn-y stuff).
2 - Next up, The Lunar Eclipse! Thursday Lunar Eclipse in Virgo – the actual time is 1:59am cst on 3/14 (Friday technically) but so early overnight AM hours – it can be classified as either Thursday or Friday. Also, as mentioned earlier, the major lunation radiates strong energy approximately 2 days leading up to, the day of, and then 2 days after the exactitude. For my favorite things to do during this or any major lunar phase, check out my Moon Rituals Guide on Etsy! In addition to this lunation, we have Saturn, the planet of authority and structure (remember just reborn from visiting the Sun) playing nice with Uranus, the planet of change….so possibly a boost from authority figure of some sort in helping us with a change for the better??
3 - Finally, on Friday, Mercury retrograde begins – this isn’t necessarily bad! When a planet is going retrograde, even though it typically has a bad rap. Retrogrades are sorta an optical illusion, from Earth’s standpoint when a planet appears in reverse. So have no fear, and it may just give you a chance to relook, reevaluate, reimagine something in your life. The moon is opposite Neptune on Friday as well; so, that paired with the retrograde could be a little bit of brain fog goin on. Consider doing some journaling (Moon Dust Planner!) or maybe doing a short meditation (like an “oldie but a goodie” chakra meditation I did a while back here).
