Getting Started with Feng Shui (Part 1)
Do the ideas of love, prosperity, success, wealth, health, and happiness sound like areas of interest that you would like to boost in your life? Feng shui, the ancient Chinese science of balancing “wind and water” (aka creating harmony in your home and life) can offer help in these areas. Feng shui itself can be rather intimidating to get started with but getting started is easier than you think! Fire, earth, wind, water, and metal are the design elements that are included with basic feng shui concepts and how each of those elements balance each other out in your home space.
I have read books on feng shui as well as had courses on the practice as well but I consider myself a beginner yet, as even those who study this for years and years still may have decades of knowledge to be acquired yet. That being said, you can be a feng shui expert just by getting started by decluttering and organizing each of the areas of space in your home. Once you start to get those spaces cleared out and cleaned out (dust and all!), things will look and feel so much better because you are impacting the energy (chi) of the house. This can also be called raising the vibration of the space.
Everything is energy, and all energy has a vibration including us! Positivity is good energy and good vibrations. Keep the good thoughts and good intentions going! Play some music while you do this, let the sunshine in, clean, organize, and tidy everything.
