The Vaccination

Coming from an essential healthcare worker: The Vaccination! I am so happy and thankful that our small-town medical facility was able to receive some of the first shipments of the vaccinations that are now making their way out and around the country! Some coworkers and I were among the first wave of doses and I just wanted to share an update. No symptoms here to report other than a mildly sore arm (similar to the flu shot). I also wanted to share that I too was curious about the vaccination when it was reported to be rolling out. But getting the shot will help people, protect people, save lives, and make a difference in this rather strange world that we now live in. Of course I want to be a part of that and want to make a difference! Don't you also?!

In the days ahead it will be widely available through clinics, pharmacies, and other sites around the nation so please join me and multitudes of others currently receiving the vaccination as I type this and as you read this. It is the right thing to do to help protect yourself, your loved ones, those you care about, and those around you. Please stay safe this holiday season until everyone has a chance to get their shot we should minimize any extra or unnecessary risks. We are in this together!
