Origin Story: One Boo Lane

You may find yourself asking what in the world is oneboolane or where did that name come from? Well as I was working on this collection of materials that we're putting together to create a book it occurred to me that we never shared the origin story of One Boo Lane. The One Boo Lane goes back to when Joe and I first moved in together. First, I should start the story by saying I am terrible at navigating and directions! I will have to share another story of a time he set me up for a romantic scavenger hunt and I was quite lost in the big city! Little did he know that even with directions, GPS, and turn by turn voice guidance I still can manage to get lost! When I was younger this inability used to bug me but I have since come to terms with it and plan accordingly if there are directions involved. At any rate, near the time of moving in together, one time we were talking about address changing information. He jokingly asked me "do you even know what your address is?!" Without hesitation he responded back to his own question, "the address is One Boolane, Booville" (as we frequently call one another "boo"). I was so tickled by that name and continued to mention it and chuckle at it every time, we have "went with it" as they say and created One Boo Lane art that we have displayed in our home as well as using it for the name of the instagram account and website!
