What to Do with All Your Crystals
Do you love crystals? If so, you have perhaps collected some that have drawn your attention; now what to do with them all? Do you ever grid them? Crystal grids are a fantastic way to put your amazing tools from the earth to good use and they also are visually stunning! A grid is simply a collection of your crystals thoughtfully and purposefully placed in an arrangement (either on an actual grid paper, wood, design, image) or even just on a table or special tray on your alter (or sacred space). The crystals you choose are up to you and your intentions and the desired outcome and your intuition.
I love creating grids! I grid myself, make mini grids around the house, and one of my favorites is to make a new moon and full moon grid for each lunar transit. One step further is to use grids in accordance with the different planetary alignments and planetary influences on our day-to-day astrology, if you are into astrology. Typically, during full moons when the moon is light and bright, lighter-colored crystals like clear quartz, selenite, moonstone, etc; meanwhile, for the new moon when the moon is dark and not visible, darker crystals like black tourmaline, obsidian, amber, labradorite, and others are looked at. During planetary alignments, use your intuition, which crystals call to you to use?
Once you have collected some crystals to use as a grid, you are pretty much ready to grid! Set them out on your favorite tray, a corner of your home that you keep your crystals in, or wherever you feel drawn to have them set up. You can leave them out as long as you desire. For lunar transits, i typically will leave the full moon or new moon grid out the entire two weeks till the next transit where i will change it up. Set the crystals in a way that feels right to you, in a circle, in a row, in a pretty shape - anything goes! Last, connect the crystals with your finger or a crystal point by "connecting the dots" or drawing them together in the air - you are energetically activating and connecting them together to help your intentions!
