Slippery When Wet

Slippery When Wet

Growing up I have always been around cars. When I was young, I spent many days scrounging through an old junk yard foraging treasures out of the old vehicles, and examining the vehicles in various shapes and forms across the lots. Some in decent shape yet and others scrapped out, but all told a story of some sort. Automobiles are sometimes the unsung heroes that are delivering much needed essentials, food, and personnel from point A to point B.

What ways do you honor your vehicle? I am always cleaning and taking care of our family vehicles; washing, waxing, detailing and of course taking them in for needed maintenance as needed. Cleaning and caring for your auto can be as much rewarding to the machine as it is for you! I find the process to be somewhat therapeutic through cleansing your auto, you are in a way, getting rid of all the things you “carried with you” on your travels. You are refreshing yourself by cleaning up your ride! Doesn’t it feel so nice getting in a freshly detailed car? Is it just me or does it drive better when it’s fresh and clean, like “hey look at me!” Arguably they are almost sort of living – they need fuel to run (like us), they work better when cared for (like us), they need a break occasionally (most definitely like us), and I’m sure you have heard of people naming them!

Past favorites that I have had the humble privilege to own varied from Lexus, BMW, Lincon, to most recently, Cadillac. Although I will say I have been on the elusive hunt to manifest just the right C7 Corvette into our garage (C7 is the 7th generation Corvette and ran from 2014-2019). What is your favorite car make/model? Share your car stories below while you are checking out these cool rides!
